Custom Web App Development
Focused web apps built around a real workflow.
Sometimes a normal website is not enough. You need users to calculate something, manage information, follow a process, save progress or interact with a tool.
I build focused web applications for entrepreneurs and small businesses where the software has a clear job to do.
Useful software, not software for the sake of it
A custom web app should remove friction or make something possible that a collection of static pages cannot. Before adding features, I want to know what the user is trying to accomplish and what the business needs the application to do.
That keeps the build smaller and the experience clearer.
Examples of web apps I can build
- Calculators and planning tools
- Customer-facing self-service tools
- Dashboards and trackers
- Internal workflow tools
- Course and learning tools
- Simple portals
- Small subscription/SaaS applications
- Interactive lead-generation tools
Small and focused beats bloated
I am not positioning myself as an enterprise software consultancy. My best fit is a focused web-based product with a clear scope: something useful enough to matter, but small enough that we can understand the whole user journey and test it properly.
Testing is part of the thinking
Because I also work in software QA, I pay attention to the bits that are easy to overlook in a quick build: form validation, confusing states, mobile layouts, broken flows, unexpected input and what happens when a user does something you did not expect.
